Indigenous Fiber Art
Woven Tribal Dolls from Panama & Colombia
Handwoven and formed by Emberá and Ticuna artisans using natural fibers and generational techniques.
Handcrafted ceremonial figures from two distinct Indigenous traditions — Ticuna coming-of-age dolls from the Colombian Amazon and Emberá woven figure sets from Panama's Darién rainforest. Ticuna pucuna dolls are carved from balsa wood, dressed in yanchama bark cloth, and painted with natural Amazon pigments. Emberá figures are woven entirely from Chunga palm fiber in male and female pairs — not carved, not painted, colored with rainforest plant dyes.
Each figure carries deep cultural significance within its tradition. Sourced directly from artisans in both communities at fair prices.
